Functioning of the framing island

FRAME HANDLING

The aluminum frames are placed on the loading area where they are automatically centered and brought under the silicone gun that precisely dispenses silicone/glue in the frames. Alternatively for the taping operation the frames are stored on a Frame Buffer unit for non stop production.

ROBOT FOR FRAMES LAYUP

The robotic arm automatically picks up the frames from the silicone dispenser or the frame buffer and deposits them on the dedicated areas of the framing machine.

ROBOT FOR FRAMES LAYUP

The Ecoframe HR is developed to process the framing and the punching in two separate steps to optimize cycle time and efficiency. During the first step, the Ecoframe presses the frames against the glass’s edges. The second step the Ecoframe performs the punching of the corners.
